It's heading toward summer down here in Aus. Which makes the hail we had a few nights ago quite bizarre... And it was alot of hail too...

FUCKED!
Winter is coming. I am starting to be SAD. I held it off a bit with the new job, seeing my oldest son, tequila, jazz with the teens yesterday, but it has arrived in spades, today and wearing armour and carrying a jackslapper. I'm going to get the buttlube in a minute.

Temps in the mid thirties, cloudy, misty, absolutely no fucking indication of the sun

:thanks:

That made my day!

Here it's eight AM and still below freezing, with heavy frost. I have managed to save my pepper plants through the first two bad nights, but last night was well below freezing here.

Yesterday afternoon, I placed two garbage cans full of water near the plants and covered the plants with some salvaged bubble packing material, then a huge tarp, in hopes that the water would continue to keep the air temps next to the delicate leaves above freezing. We still have some sixty degree weather coming, if this years is normal or I would not have bothered. The tomatoes have already succumbed to bacterial and fungal infections due to growth slowing down.

My spinach and kale will turn sweeter from the frost and they are quite hardy. Yum!

Yep it's just started up here, high winds, rain- sporadically heavy,  39 F.  Dead leaves flying off the trees in bunches.

Sunny, 50's, sattered clouds.

Wow warm weather for this time of year. After being in Montana for eight years, the weather here seems a lot warmer because I got so used to cold weather so 40's seems warmer to me like it's still summer than having 20's 30's degree weather this time of year.
