Cloudy, breezy. The coolest morning walk I've had in over a month. Sixty seven degrees.
Jimi Hendrix: When the power of love overcomes the love of power the world will know peace.

Ghandi: Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever.

The end result of life's daily pain and suffering, trials and failures, tears and laughter, readings and listenings is an accumulation of wisdom in its purest form.

Cold, wet, horrible.  The slugs are loving it.

Hot and humid as usual.   Going to the NFL preseason game Jaguars vs. Bucanneers.   GO JAGS!!!!!   Going to get drunk and scream so much I can't talk for days afterwards as usual.

Is that all it does there?

Is that all it does there?

Mostly.  It sunned a bit during April.

Don't get me wrong I like a nice rainy day but it seems like it's a bit excessive there.  I like it were the weather changes a lot that's why New England's nice the weather runs the whole spectrum hot to cold rain and snow

It hardly ever snows here in winter, and it doesn't sun much in summer.  Mostly it just alternates between being overcast and being overcast with wind and/or rain.  It rained almost every day last winter, and this summer hasn't been much better.  The temperature rarely gets below 0C in winter and rarely gets above 20C in summer.

It's quite a nice day today; the sky's only half-covered with cloud, so there's a fair amount of sun.  It's cold for Summer though; only 13C so far at 11:22am.

Wet out West
Added : Sun 19 August : 21:28BST

Well, not just the West, but some impressive rainfall around for parts of the UK over the next 24 hours. First off, we still have the rain affecting parts of East Anglia and into Southern and Eastern England. This is all brought on by the low pressure out in the North Sea at the moment. This rain is expected to continue across parts of East Anglia throughout Monday and into Tuesday.

Out West and another rogue frontal system slips South bringing heavy rainfall across Ireland this evening and into West Wales and later South-west England tomorrow. Accumulations of up to 25mm are expected across parts of Bodmin and Dartmoor.

Winds will remain in a Northerly quarter throughout the day, this will have the effect of making it feel like October for some areas caught in the rain, elsewhere and whilst it will remain mostly dry, so the cloud cover will be a major factor.

Later in the week and rain and cool North-easterly wind remains across Eastern areas, however the picture does improves from the West.

No heatwaves on the cards just yet, but it will improve... after all, only a freak snow storm could make it worse?!
