Temperature is a short way below freezing and the sky has begun to spit some flakes.

It won't amount to anything, but every BIG truck the city has has been out spreading chemical, uselessly. It's like these guys have at the starting gates all winter and no starter pop shot yet.

We're still in drought conditions as far as measurable precipitation goes. I doubt we'll even get a decent whiting from the snow falling.

38.8°C and cloudy at 1:45pm. There might be a thunderstorm tonight but it's unlikely that it will rain. Plus the cloud cover will keep the temperature up overnight.

The minimum last night/this morning was 27°C. No wonder I had trouble sleeping and had to keep getting up for drinks (and to pee).

Warm last week, snow this weekend that all melted Sun & today...supposed to be around 50F tomorrow.

Neighbors on this block all go out with their shovels and brooms and struggle for 30 min to an hour...meanwhile I put on my loudest fleece lounge pants, my earmuffs and fire up my electric leaf blower...the car, the steps, and the walk are done in 10. Hell I even blow off the grass next to the cars with it.

I've caught a couple peeking from the curtains.  :lol1:

It got to 35C here today. Hopefully we get some reprieve with some storms tomorrow (Windy.com says yes)

it got to around 35°C here yesterday with the humidity you describe. Sweat running down my back and my neck soaking the collar of my shirt. Gross!

About an inch of snow cover this morning. Cloudy, calm and cold again. A few degrees below freezing at ten AM.
