26.4°C and sunny (what else?) at 10am. Heading for a maximum of 34°C. We didn't get any rain in January.

That sounds hot, like our July. Although, July and June are when we get the most rain, mostly as storms.

Here it's a typical winter January with temperatures twenty degrees or so below freezing most nights and near freezing during the day.

Forecast calls for a warm up though for the coming week. Of course, that brings rainy, windy stuff this time of year for us.

We generally only get wet weather in summer if the remains of a cyclone comes down here from up north. However, the last cyclone up north tracked east and South Australia got the rain. Not fair!

We had a surprise strong microburst here today. Trees down, roofs elsewhere. No warnings from the BoM or anything. Thankfully the worst of the storm missed home but the CBD got smashed. The office even started leaking.

Now it's 24C at 11:00pm.

Cold day, sunny, calm, dry, 18F/-7C at 3PM. About as warm as we will be today.

Should be warmer for the week end.

Holy shit, you do seem to get all the whacky weather. You're west of Sydney, aren't you?

Here it's 35°C and partly cloudy at 1:45pm.

A few hours north of Sydney.

Just this summer seems to be rather eventful. I've never SEEN a storm like that before. This microburst phenomena has me curious, it was like a 10 minute cyclone.

Today there is not a cloud in the sky. Top of 29C I think. Now it's down to 17C at 10:30pm (the humidity is still a bitch though).

It got to 38.1°C yesterday, bloody hot as fuck. But Parts, I don't envy you that freezing cold.

23.9°C and sunny at 10:30am. Cooler at least.
