It's a nice evening, a bit cooler than usual... but what can you expect the day before St. Paddy's day? I'm drinking a Citrus Green Tea, taking my meds, and listening to some Jimmy Smith to cope while I am writing this out.

At the end of the month, my Aunts and Uncles are supposed to make a visit... so I'm going to plan out one of my mental health days for the majority of their visit with my family.

Sounds like good sound self care!  Do it.   8)

^Vivaldi is never wrong.

I also have an album of Vivaldi's Mandolin and Lute Concertos which I will set to be ready for tomorrow's coffee. This one is a Deutsche Grammophon release. Highly prized by Vivaldi enthusiasts.
Still spinning Atlanta Rythym Section for the moment.

Near midnight and 54F/12C, clear skies in fucking March.  Wonderful spring teaser! I know there are two more months of dreary winter to get through, but what a day! I needed a couple of of these!

December, January, February = Summer
March, April, May = Autumn
June, july, August = Winter
September, October, November = Spring

Isn't this how the seasons go (except opposite in the northern hemisphere)?

DirtDawg, just wondering because you say there's two more months of winter. But I though it would be the start of Spring for you.

By the sun and calender, spring starts in about a week, but here our spring can be brutal to start. Two years ago we had five inches of snow on April 20, a month into spring. Not unusual at all, except for the five inches part. It's Indiana, after all. Big lakes nearby and the Arctic is not quite done yet with us. Just glad I don't live in North Dakota or Minnesota. Nothing but glacier worn plains all the way to the North Pole.

When I used to go to the Indy 500 race every year and attend for the whole month of May for various activities I normally had to scrape ice off my windshield before I could head out in the mornings. Of course it would be hot in the afternoon, but overnight, still icy in May. The way it is sometimes. It gets cold here.

My dad used to joke that there was nothing between the North Pole and Indiana but a couple of barbed wire fences and one of them is missing a strand of wire.

^ Can see it looks like rain in the distance. Nice shot of the dog. :)

I looked up Indiana on Maps. It's kind of small and squashed in. But it has interesting cities. I find north America fascinating.

Here, a maximum of 27°C today.

Supposed to get to 34°C this coming Friday. Not looking forward to it. Wearing a mask in this heat is very uncomfortable.

Overcast. Misty rain all day yesterday, still the same. Thunder and lightning last night. High for the day was 39F/4C. Kind of like early spring still.

I have crocuses blooming and daffodils almost ready. Tulips aren't far behind. Never knew they were there untill a couple of weeks ago. All kinds of plants in our landscaping that I won't be able to identify until they start to grow again.  Hard to tell what a plant is when all you have to judge are a few dried sticks.  ... or a leafless tree that needs trimming.
But spring is coming!
