Well below freezing at night, but days are sunny and just above freezing. Very dry, though, for the most part. No snow, except just enough to think, Oh, it snowed some. Not enough snow to survive the sunrise.

Not in my area, but Oklahoma and it's tornado.

Why are the houses in a place dubbed "Tornado Alley" built out of match wood and paper glue?  It's not like this is the first time it's happened.  Did no one tell the the story of the three little piggies when they were kids?

They should all live in underground bunkers.

Yeah it does look like the houses are destroyed pretty easily. Saw a whole town just flattened except for a few brick buildings.

It's like the people in Britain that buy houses next to rivers on flat areas that anyone who studied even High School level geography will tell them is a "flood plain".  Every spring they cry "My house is full of water - why isn't the government doing something?"

And don't get me started on those whining bastards in downtown Vesuvius.

It's possible the standing brick structures are compromised beyond salvage. An big enough tornado can destroy any above ground structure; even concrete construction marketed as 'tornado resistant' are generally only up to 200 mph winds.

When we get mini tornadoes in winter, they usually take the roofs off houses. Especially if they're tiles. I don't know what they do to roofs that are metal like the one we have.

21.9°C and sunny at 12:20pm. It's forecast to be 33°C on Christmas Day. I'll be further south so hopefully cooler there.
