Sunny, just after a bit of rain. Its wet, humid, and hot.
Can't you guys even just imagine it?

Forget practicality, or your experience....can you just....imagine?

It's there. It always was.

Hot and humid. Ugh.

What passes for "Hot' weather in Sweden?

One of my wife's friends was in the UK and complaining on Facebook about hot weather. The comments suggested that she go to the shopping mall and enjoy the air con. As if they bother installing air con for the 2 or 3 days of the year when it's actually a bit warm.

30C is hot.

Official weather forecast for the coming weekend is 6 to 15 Celsius in the city. Now in a lot of parts of the world that barely qualifies as "cool", but here we've got people getting around with beanies and puffer jackets.

When I lived in the UK I would see people getting around in summer clothes when the weather was 10 degrees colder than this, but all they were doing was walking from one overheated place to another. Here, most places aren't heated and the cold air just blows straight through a lot of indoor public areas. And we've got a lot of immigrants now from warmer climates, so for them this is cold.

I remember walking home from work in Jakarta a few times after an all-nighter, during the "cool" season, when it was about 23 or 24 Celsius at 5 am. The security guards out the front of the buildings would have their jackets on and be folding their arms and jumping up and down to stay warm.

Nice and cooler today. Official temperature just below 22°C.dry air, fair bit of wind. I like summer this way. House can cool down now.

Yesterday it was up to 35°C, humid and stale.

Sleeveless and shorts on both days.

I can do upside down chocolate moo things!

Warm, nearly hot!  But, not worth putting the AC on yet!

One of the hottest summers I've ever been through was the summer I spent in Washington DC, in 2003.

Not quite up there with Broken Hill during a heatwave at the height of summer. Or even Adelaide during summer. But seriously hot, even compared with some of the notoriously hot places I've spent time in like Bangkok or India.
