I appreciated the rain when I was in Pakistan because it was always fascinating to me... now that I am an adult living in my mother's basement, I get mad at it when it floods my flat... my humble abode. It makes me want to flip off a cloud, yet I would just look weird in the process, and have some Abuelita in town think I was some kind of awkward white boy with problems.
