It actually rained last night. Wasn't expecting that and neither was the cat who went out for a pee.

Quite cool today, 18.0°C and cloudy at 3:05pm.

Just below freezing, but clear. Frost on everything. Chance of light snow tomorrow. More so toward the week end.

Got all my garden put to bed for the winter including planting all those (forty three. I used to think I could count) hostas and spreading all the mulch where it neeeds to be. Vegetable beds are laid down with a good amount of bone meal and blood meal worked in and mulched over well.

19 Celsius and partly cloudy.

Beautiful weather for this time of year, just a little bit cool. It's nearly summer and it's interesting to see some people on the train dressed for hot weather and some people are wearing jackets again.

For me it's perfect, just a little bit chilly in the evenings or early morning until you get moving.

^I went out at about 8:15 this morning and it was around 17°C.

It's partly cloudy and 31.3°C now - 3:10pm. Hot by my definition.

31 is hot, but still pleasant.

I used to find it funny when I was living and working in a huge city for a few years, in the "cool season" it used to drop to about 23 or 24 degrees in the early hours of the morning during their "cool" season. That was literally as "cold" as it ever got. And we'd be walking home from work sometimes at 4 or 5 in the morning and there would be security guards out the front of the buildings, wearing their jackets and jumping up and down trying to stay warm. For me, 23 or 24 was beautiful, cool enough that you could walk briskly without getting sweaty.

I've been to Bangkok, where it's practically the same temperature all the time. Every single building has air-conditioning and as a result, it smells. Like mould.

Barely above freezing, misty with an occasional snowflake. Winter weather coming, but no accumulating snow, yet. Hitting 17F/-8C tonight. A bit early for those temperatures.

Pretty good amount of snow coming down. Limited visibility for sure.

No snow sticking to anything that is not a plant, though. Roads and soil are too warm, still.

22.7°C and sunny at 11:40am. It's fine here but there is rain to the north and around the hills to the east.

I've been to Bangkok, where it's practically the same temperature all the time. Every single building has air-conditioning and as a result, it smells. Like mould.

It smells like mould inside the buildings? Or outside? Because that's not mould you can smell outside, it's poop.

I have actually experienced cool weather in Bangkok. Believe it or not.

One early morning I was staying in central Bangkok with my family, my daughter was a baby so it was about 10 years ago. My wife sent me downstairs to get street food for breakfast. It was 14 Celsius (I found out later). Around December you do get a few pleasant days where it is around 25 maximum. Most of the year it is constantly hot and humid. The worst is around April, just before the wet season begins. Really oppressive, muggy heat.

Compare that to Jakarta, where the coldest I can remember it getting in 8 years was 23 Celsius.
