It's still kind of balmy for January.  I want some proper winter!  :thumbdn:

Me too. It's more than kind of balmy, it is really soft and gentle. I want snow. Nearly 5ºC right now, half an hour before midnight.

If this was snow, we'd be up to 3 feet deep and counting!     :poo:

High winds with gusts up to 90 km/h. Sounds like a tornado out there. Py refuses to put plastic over the windows so the wind is moving the curtains. The house is shaking but not consistently.

Dry and wet spells alternating. Dry at the moment. During the day the visual of the clouds is changing. More icecaps can be seen. Could it be that winter is coming? Or will we get thunderstorms? (No, no anvil shapes)

Raining and getting colder supposed to have snow and sleet later

Maybe a fluffy 2 inches this morning, clear, crisp. Just got it cleared here and at the neighbors around 11, than at noon all hell started breaking loose.

White outs, snow squalls, icy roads and another 4+ inches dumped suddenly in the space of a couple of hours. Shoveled again, while waiting for kid to come home from school at 3. Worried, used up all my sentence enhancers. He finally made it home...2 hours late.

With all that nice weather, I had forgotten how much winter really sucks.
