January average, here. highs near freezing, lows in the teens, Farenheit. Sunny, today. I have a house full of flowers, from cuttings I took a couple of weeks ago.

Cold, and weirdly, it was still sunny with a blue sky at 4pm when I looked out???   ??? Usually it is almost dark at that time, so I don't get it. The clocks haven't changed or anything. And it is still light now at 4.30.

We had the shortest day before xmas so it is getting lighter now, although I agree it seems to be happening a lot quicker than it usually does.  ???

We're back to the crazyweather here.  It's the deepest depths of winter, and it's 7C, forecast to reach 10C. That's t-shirt wearing springtime weather.

It's frigging hot.
Temperatures reaching 40s. Celsius. On Friday temperature recorded was 41.8C.

I wish it would rain.
