Gales and heavy rain forecast for today.  I saw stuff on the news about snow in LA, and Arnie talking about $1bn in damage to the citrus crop.

When I sat here last night, about 1 cm (less than ½ inch) of snow fell. It's already gone. It's sunny and 5C/40F.

Well, winter cold finally settled in with below zero (F) nights.  But still not much snow worth talking about.  At least the ski areas can make snow with the cold weather.

Forecast says it could get above freezing, today, but I doubt it. Looks like snow coming.
