No, my neighbours are Polish. Two main tennants, and a whole lot of short-time ones. I had had some chats with the guy next-door, but, till recently, he was the only one who spoke Dutch. Now she is living there too. And, 8 other women, but they are only there for a short time.

Woke kids, got them fed and sent the oldest on her way to school.
Vacuumed, changed bandages on the toe of the youngest.
Got my green bin, and the borrowed green bin of the neighbour at the street.
Brought the youngest to school,
Did dishes,
Got the washing machine running.
Had a mechanic over from the housing company to fix some things.
Made some phonecalls.
Did the return admin for the mail, apart from the mail report that is, it was missing yesterday. I can live with that, didn't have much to report anyway. 

Think I deserved a cup of coffee by now.

This afternoon I visited a big (4 of 5 stars) camping to look at a chalet/log cabin that's for sale. The chalet seems OK from the outside and the plot's big enough but the returning problem with wooden chalets (I've seem quite a few now) is that the ceilings tend to be soo low. Well, I just don't like low ceilings.

Got up, went to work, spent most of the day ripping threads from strips of cloth that's suppose to be put on hockey uniforms withc velcroe once another sponsors name is sewn onto it. Rare work in the woodshop, and not very stimulating.

Against better judgement I let my co worker do this

to me with one of those thingys you tear up seams with, just to make him happy. He didn't take his medicine, poor fellow, and started to get all ADDish at the end of the day.

There are 2 days of the year that brighten my life.  The Christmas Play and the Style Show at St. Michael Special School.  Today was the Style Show.  Those girls can strut their stuff with the best of the runway models.  I always leave with a smile and a happy heart.

Took a friend to the Airport (SFO) to get a flight to Hong Kong. Was tired and fell asleep for a bit.

Morning pages
Got through the new chapter for my class this week
Did the dishes
Watched some of The Nate Berkus show and remembered how happy it makes me. Must watch it more.
