Does your youngest like Dr Seuss? My favorite by him when I was little was The 500 Hats of Bartholomew Cubbins. He was a brilliant childrens author, he knew how to write for children w/o  talking down to them. I fucking hated morons talking to me like I was stupid when I was little.
She does! We've got several of his books. Her favourite is "Are You My Mother" which is kinda cute because it was my favourite when I was little too.

Today...
*spent most of our study time on Reading Comp and Problem Solving
*laundry
*cleaned the kitchen
*stripped the beds
*finally called my parents back and had a quick chat
*snuggled up with the youngest to talk about her "bad friend day". Holy, the politics between girls starts young :P

Are You My Mother is a P. D. Eastman book, not a Dr. Seuss book.

Drove from DC to Syracuse starting at 2330 and arriving at 0545. Just finished eating breakfast at Denny's in Liverpool.

Trying to buy something.

Shop was closed, despite the note saying they would be open today, had waited a few days for that. There was a phonenumber, two even. Tried that, but it did not help. So, tried getting it online. Cellphone network had died, and I could not make a payment because of that. Don't trust the shop will be open tomorrow. So, delay of at least two days more.

I just am not fond of shopping. Unless it is bread in my own village. Did manage to do that.

Oh, and further, all the things that happen almost everyday. Motivating my girls to wake up, domestic chores, chatting, cuddling girls, emailing, job, cooking, stuff like that.

Just landed in LA. Now the drive to SB, three hours of sleep, an all-day meeting, then back on the redeye. And this after driving the previous night to Syracuse for an all-day meeting. Haven't slept in quite awhile! :zombiefuck:

Seriously, eh? Although that plan seems to be kiboshed. The ex is keeping the big house and I'm moving out into a smaller, mobility friendly place. I changed plans and I'm much happier starting fresh somewhere.

* Ran an errand
* Picked up monkeygirl

* Emailed a real estate agent
* Talked to the ex again
* Put a bottle of wine in the fridge
* Made dinner

Got my tickets from SFO to LAX and from LAX to OAK. I had the London tickets since last week but since my sister and I are going to meet in LAX had not gotten the first leg tickets. Then I put money in the bank and went to San Rafael to shoot my M&P9c, USP9 and P7PSP. While I was Southbound on Highway 101 I got stuck behind a fucking doodah booger eating moron doing 55 MPH in a 65 zone in the #2 lane. Other then that minor annoyance my day has gone well.

Called taxes. Great woman on the phone, very accurate, friendly and funny. But have to get hold of ex to sort things out. UGH!!!
Tried to get hold of ex. (Had just put him on total ignore) Failed.
Some further paperwork.
Short chat with a little girl.
Getting mail in.
Posting.
Thinking I have to pack my bags to go and deliver.
