Couldn't sleep, so I've been downloading the new Depeche Mode and Pet Shop Boys' albums, as well as some really obscure New Order and Electronic stuff I was not aware that I didn't have.

Also been downloading Seasons 1 & 2 of Naruto Shippuuden.

Worked. Made dinner for the family. Worked some more. Started installing XP as a virtual machine on Linux. Wrote this.

Tried to fix my external hard drive, to no avail! Sat around all day as the Direct TV dudes set up, but it still ain't working! Have missed my appointment to get my car inspected and am obviously not going to work today! So much for we'll be there between 8 & 12 and it will only take a couple of hours! They've had to redo the lines for the entire house, because they weren't getting a signal to the tuners. One of the tuners didn't work, so they had to replace it already. Now the guy is on the phone tying to get them to activate the damn account! Kids are home from school and want their TV!

I took a tour of the assisted living center I will be shipping out to shortly. I already memorized all the rules, the layout of the place, and everyone's name. Now all I have to do is wait for those medicaid bastards to do their job, and I will get a team of specialists to help me learn to emulate human behavior.  :lol:

Scraped away some undercoating on the project car prepping it for rust repair.
