Spent the better part of the day working on my garage. It's not just about "cleaning,"  though.  I am organizing my tools and supplies in preparation for an upcoming set of projects. I have several things I would like to accomplish before winter shuts me down.

Took Amber to a haircut and her dental appointment.  Got one step closer to getting the finished job done on her packing for camp.  Starting to think about Saturday when we leave for NY State and the long drive to her grandparents place just outside Cooperstown, NY.

Went to a job interview - it was a group interview, they said that there are at least two more interviews to go through before even being considered, so I am not hoping too much right now. I am pretty happy doing what I am doing at the moment.

Also went to a careers expo, there were some university stalls (or whatever they are called) and I looked up Behavioural Science. I think that would be a great subject to study. Being able to go to university is a completely different thing to think about, though.

Is there an open university out in Australia. It could circumvent the farce of actually physically going to a university all the time.

Made hundreds of faces and spoke "larger than life"   using about forty different melodramatically conceived, cartoon-like voices as if I was entertaining a hyperactive three year old. I WAS, sort of.

My daughter is coming out of her "funk"  from seeing my head bleeding profusely last week, but she seems more like a toddler when she tries to interact, rather than a second grader. I think her trauma is leaving, but she has reverted to a younger, more innocent stage of development. It seems that she needs to grow up  again after all this, in some ways.

I'm just glad to see her getting over it and starting to communicate in a two-way manner once again.

Painted more of the exterior foundation wall, tuned my guitar for my group lesson tonite.
