Scotch is awful stuff.
Only things I can't stand, really, are wiskey in any form, although I can tolerate southern comfort to the extent where I could pour some down me if I had to saw my own legs off...but otherwise, ew, vile stuff.
And wine/champaign, I just can't stand either. The smell makes me heave. Oh, and bacardi. I could drink it if I had a good reason to, but I'd never willingly drink the stuff.
Vodka shouldn't taste oily though, what the fuck.....that said, this lime stuff isn't too far from getting used as toilet cleaner. And I did once send a bottle of vodka to trading standards, because it absolutely stank of isopropanol. Didn't dare actually try any of that one. I can tell drinkable EtOH apart from IPA easy enough by smell, but methanol doesn't have a highly distinct smell to it, at least not to me....and I'd know by now if it did, I use it often enough.
