Burgundy wine.  After going thru the NH covid vaccine sign up and driving to goodwill store to get rid of stuff during a snow squall.  I deserve it!

Had the same issue here but it reappeared yesterday after a good three month hiatus.  I don;t know if my palete has changed but I swear it tastes better than I remembered.  I prefer it to Johnny Walker Black Label - which can be three times the price.

I can't think of a better whisky in that price bracket.

Me neither. I rate them both about the same but for the price the Highland Black's a nobrainer. I'll have to nip into Aldi and see if it's back in.  :thumbup:

Tonight has been a Highland night - Shackleton, followed by Glenmorangie, anCnoc 12 yo and Tullibardine Sovereign. I mighht be a bit pished, shhhhhh :fiveshots:

The Woodsman - picked up to try for £18. This is actually really drinkable - smooth, vanilla and toasted oak flavours, a little tingly spice. Not bad at all for the price, though I wouldn't pay full whack for it. :glug:
