It's a Grant's blend of Speyside malts, so it's quite rich, fruitcakey and a little spicy. I wouldn't say fiery as such but a bit of ice wouldn't hurt. It's a decent enough drop, worth trying but now my curiosity has been satisfied I probably won't get it again. :glug: :glug:

It's the weekend!! :glug:

A variety of single malt whiskies, mostly Highland tonight. Favourite dram of the night Old Pulteney 12 yo, though was impressed with Glenmorangie 10 as a classy and well balanced whisky - I do prefer the smokier ones but I can see why this is so popular. :fiveshots:

My Brother in Law drinks Glenmorangie.  It's smooth and nice - but like you I prefer a bit of smoke and sea salt.
