Yeah I have to go for some X-rays, ultrasound, bloodwork and possibly a scope down the neck, although that as yet hasn't been ordered/booked.
Have had terrible, terrible acid reflux, repeated and persistent SEVERE vomiting, to the point where sometimes I cannot eat or drink, and have to either inject meds or take them dissolved in solution and squirted up the tradesmen's doorway with a needle-less rig.
Also I drank some absinthe the other week, it numbs the mouth, tongue and throat and is very easy to drink, little burn, but I hadn't counted on its being 75% EtOH, that roughed my throat up too, although today I've had some relief from a bottle of codeine and chloroform cough linctus, plus lots and lots of orange ice-pops as well as taking my drinks with generous helpings of ice from the several huge bags of ice I've been using for cooling my lab rxns where needed using ice/salt/methanol/calcium chloride cryogenic baths. Got lots leftover so can afford to really fill up my cups of drinks full to bursting with leftover ice, now I don't need to bugger about wrestling ice cubes out of the ice cube trays in the freezer, just whack a bag full with a hammer and ladle it out in big chunks.
