You usually don't read the books before buying them in a Swedish bookstore, though, at least not around here.

True. It's frowned upon by the clerks. But it depends on the bookstore. The one I like best accepts that people will spend hours there.

Haha, no, but the clerks get really pissed, at least in the small towns and villages in my neighbourhood they would.

  Caesar would have liked Borders, a chain of bookstores we used to have.  Customers were welcome
