Most of it.  I lived in Ohio for a year after high school, but promptly moved back to Texas.

Oh, you poor, poor man.  We were in exile in Texas for 10 years when I was a child.  Pretty much hated it.  Of course, this was from 1953 - 1962.

I think Texas is a nice state.  I have relatives in the San Antonio area, so I have driven across it a few times.

Texas will always be home to me.  I consider myself a Texan first, then an American.

We existed in Houston.  I remember the Astrodome being built, the Colt 45's and the Oilers.

It's a long drive.  If you drive from Houston to El Paso, you're half way to Los Angeles.

We existed in Houston.  I remember the Astrodome being built, the Colt 45's and the Oilers.

The Astrodome is now a condemned building.  Too much damage done by Katrina evacuees.

It's a long drive.  If you drive from Houston to El Paso, you're half way to Los Angeles.

I remember that it took pretty much 24 hours to drive all the way across.
