oh that sucks. if you watch your diet you can control it.

I have type 1 diabetes and take insulin everyday. you dont want to have to take insulin. take care of yourself.

I2 today is not i2 of yesteryear. It is a knitting circle. Those that participate be they nice or asshats know their place and the price to be there. Odeon is the overlord

.Benevolent if you toe the line.

Think it is I2 of old? Even Odeon is not so delusional as to think otherwise. He may on occasionally pretend otherwise but his base is that knitting circle.

Censoring/banning/restricting/moderating myself, Calanadale & Scrapheap were all not his finest moments.

Yep, never good to have these shit diseases.

Diabetes runs on my mother's side of the family, so I better watch out later on.

It runs on my mother's side of the family too.  My mother, my aunt (her youngest sister) and their father (my maternal grandfather) were all diabetics who took insulin.  Their mother (my maternal grandmother) was hypoglycemic and had to avoid sugar even more than the diabetics in the family did.  So far, neither my brother nor I have any indication that we are diabetic, but we are checked for it periodically.  My brother who died a few years ago was not diabetic either.

Diabetes sounds complicated with the types and the pre-diabetes and the hypoglycaemia and so on. I have read some about it but find it confusing.
