How well did you sleep last night?

Soundly till 5am woken up by a loud thud of unknown origin probably cat related

You know when you're almost alseep and you can almost see dreams right in front of you, but you can still hear things, almost down, but not quite yet?

That was my night.
I gave up about four AM and came out to my shop to stumble around and drink coffee.

Got woken up early by incessant beeping of unknown origin. It's outside the house somewhere.

At least it is outside the house and you're not on fire.

Kind of a pisser to be awakened early, though.

I got up early mainly because I couldn't wait to get back to my mono stack.

Slept well after a nice long bath just before retiring for the day. I was tired!
Woke up energized!  Feels good for a change.

Heh, it was from a truck across the road. I had a sneaky peek over our wall. Why the driver had to sit there with it in reverse was beyond me.

Last night at about 2am I went to pee and Rowan (the cat) came in with me. He was fine and purring but suddenly he had a coughing fit and then he threw up. So cleaning that up was a bit of an interruption to sleep. Rowan seems fine now, he ate breakfast at 7am as usual.

My wife no longer uses an alarm clock, since she works nights and sleeps when she can. We NEVER wake her when she's down!

... but she has an alarm clock that sounds like a dumptruck backing over your head. It works. You will wake the Hell up.

I always set an alarm clock if I have to get going early, but I always awaken before the alarm. Always have. Don't know why.

Used to be because of my sweet cat, but she's gone now. I can't imagine how that cat could tell time so well, but she always licked me awake at my eyelids a few minutes before the alarm went off. How did she know?

I miss her.

Got woken up early by someone mowing their lawn. I wish I was a heavier sleeper.

OK-ish but it's just too warm and sleep isn't easy to get hold of.

My car's alarm activated at around 2am. So I went out to it and made sure all the doors were closed properly and the windows were up. The back passenger side was slightly down. That could have been the culprit. It hasn't activated since.

Slept until 5:30am when I was woken up by Rowan.
