OK-ish but with several interruptions.

Not well. Up from 1:30am-5am. But slept like the dead when I napped for an hour this afternoon.

Like crap. I have really bad hayfever and allergies and have run out of antihistamines. Will get some more today if I can.

So last night my nose was completely blocked most of the time and I had to breathe through my mouth which was horrible. I kept having to get up and have drinks.

So last night my nose was completely blocked most of the time and I had to breathe through my mouth which was horrible. I kept having to get up and have drinks.

Do you know what's triggering these reactions? It's always best to eliminate the trigger, if feasible. And me, I just  have to try eliminating triggers, ever since the wonderful drug companies managed to add one or more  my triggers (most often corn derivatives)  to every damned antihistamine formulation.

I've since noticed that it's not just airborne triggers setting off  my asthma, hayfever, weeping eyes etc . More often its my freaking food.  Worth checking.

And now, I find that I've developed histamine intolerance. Oh joy! Yet further restrictions in my diet, but the relief is wonderful:  no more sniffling, wheezing, and weeping all over the place and I can actually stay awake all day :) Heck, i feel almost human again.

It's spring here, so I think that has something to do with it. I've only had limited tests to find out I'm allergic to cats and dust but there has to be something else. I'm allergic to something at the Salvos because my eyes often start watering while I'm there.

Bear in mind that allergy tests are not altogether reliable. symptom  diaries are much better guides, especially if you can control the variables (eg by elimation diet.  I know, i know, not so easy with this sort of thing, though)

Interesting that you often, but not always get rections at the salvo.  That variance might help to pin down the cause.  Cleaning/disinfecting  chemicals spring to mind straight away, but it might be something less obvious .  If you can find out what they use and when they use it ( both on building and also  maybe on stock? ) that might just  reveal the  trigger, in conjunction with a symptom diary. It might also be worth keeping a diary of every little change at work, When do delveries arrive? who are you working with today?  (you might be allergic to their perfume, cat dander on their clothing... ) what activity are you doing?  in which room? including logging visits to the toilet- there would be loadsa chemicals in there ( Me i get reactions just  to flushing my freaking toilet or running the taps,  whenever chlorine levels in the water supply are particularly high.  Something else to bear in mind).    Really tedious, i know, but often well worth the trouble.

In any case, best of luck with this, Ren.

Well, I've started coughing so I think this might be a cold instead of allergies. At least this means it will go away sooner or later. My nose is clearer which is good. I'm at the Salvos store today so I'm going to try and stay out the back where customers won't be bothered by my cough.

OK-ish.

A doctor friend of mine specialises in allergies. He's really good at what he does, too. I'd recommend him if you lived somewhat closer.
