How well did you sleep last night?

All right. Dog woke me up, though.

Not well. Was up a lot due to one of the kids

Short naps, when I slept. It was my night to patrol the neighborhood before daybreak.

But something I did during one of my naps relaxed something that was causing back pain. My back feels more flexible and with less pain than I have had in weeks.



I have plenty I want to do outside, but the constant drizzle makes gardening tough.

Me too  though I used the opportunity to get revenge on my dog for waking me up all the time at stupid o'clock waking him up a few times

Happened again. I think she likes waking me up.

Short, but sweet for me last night, early morning.

Not well. Couldn't get hospital pup to pee before bed (she was too out of it) and I knew her body was full of IV fluid. Sure enough 1:30am rolls around and she's frantic to go out. Turns out the stress got to her so she had the runs to boot. It was a long and stressful night. About to nap though. One of the advantages of quarantine. I've got exactly nowhere to be.

The quick step slippery poops are to be expected, but I would call the pup awakening you at night a really good sign.

Glad to see all is well.

Yeah she's bouncing back nicely. Slowly, which is what I want. She's just wise to the ways I'm hiding her pills to get them into her system which is becoming stressful. 6 more days of horse pills to get down her. I cut them up into thirds and hide them in bread balls, or peanut butter or cream cheese which makes it smaller and quick to swallow but she's figured it out and sucks off the yummy stuff and spits out the pill

This morning when she finished her breakfast, I looked to make sure she ate and everything was gone except for 1/3 of her pill sitting there nicely on display in the exact centre of her bowl. She's a bit passive aggressive.

She's awesome. Gotta admire that kind of precision.

This breed of dogs have a ton of personality. It's my favourite thing about them.

I was up and down a lot last night.

This morning when she finished her breakfast, I looked to make sure she ate and everything was gone except for 1/3 of her pill sitting there nicely on display in the exact centre of her bowl. She's a bit passive aggressive. 

The dog we had before the one we have now was clever doing this as well. We got about a week's worth of doses down him using trickery and concealment. I had to finally give up and force him to take them, every day. The pills were something he had to live with, since the medication controlled his seizures.
He eventually resolved himself to my gentle, stuff the pill down his throat and do not allow him to spit it out efforts.

He was an awesome little dog and I never thought I would say so about a chihuahua. But he was a tough, brave, protective little fellow with a lot of personality. I miss him.
