Didn't sleep enough. Opted to watch The Sting on the telly instead.

Wish I had a way to offer solace.

These times are hard. Just enjoy every glance at that little Jack Jack of yours and keep things going.
It will never get easy, but you will get by and eventually thrive.

I got him a train set for Christmas. While he was playing with it I got this vague memory that Wolf had asked me to get him a train on a track to play with under the Christmas tree. Not sure if it happened here or in dream, but this one should have read from Mama and Daddy on the tag.

Sounds like your instincts were spot on.  As for the rest about the tag......the time will come to tell him and he will understand.  8)  Children are creatures of instinct and intuition.  Don't second guess your gut.

Hey :) I was looking at Christmas pressies, just before I got sick to follow through.  Anyway,  my mind just kept coming back to the Brio trainset that my son had had as a toddler, and really, really, really wanting to get same for the cub, though it's way too expensive , ofc.   And, besides,  I pretty much guessed ypu would buy him something similar yourself,

And so you have! :)

Great minds...or summat  :lol1:

Ah the one I got is very similar to that. Imaginarium. The pieces are very simple - one engine with two cars, and a basic track set that makes a circle. But it's entirely expandable for future birthdays and Christmases. And he loves it just as it is, and spent ages today pushing the train around the track.

Brio train sets are brilliant. My son loved them.

Watched "Midnight Run" instead of sleeping. I love that film.

Not well, thinking about good times with WolFish and missing him.

Horribly. Couldn't breathe through my nose so had to breathe through my mouth and that sucked because I had to keep getting up for drinks for my dry mouth. It's pointless blowing my nose because it's blocked and nothing comes out. Icky, I know. I thought it was getting better yesterday but last night it got worse.

Yet another night watching TV rather than sleeping.

Very well, thank you.

I generally have a battle between my need to sleep and some urgency to pee. My sleep won last night. I want more nights when I can sleep almost five hours.

Between Kayleigh playing her Xbox all night with the bright lounge room light on and Liam scratching at my window flywire, I had very broken sleep.
