Overslept, went to work. Got in a clearing and cleaning frenzy, when at home. Got the ladies to participate in it, a little bit.
Lost my keys. Knew they had to be somewhere in plain sight. Went to the shops on daughters bike. And, found my own keys when I came back, hidden in plain sight indeed. Cooked a nice meal. Got cats treated for the flees they are not yet having. (I'm so spoiled this year, not one single flee yet) Had tea with the ladies, with some biscuits and chocolate enjoying my domestic work. Took a shower. Read a bit. Now on here.

Went to a 90 minute presentation on being the PRs representative payee for her her Social Security.  Found out I was doing a couple of things wrong, but I spoke to the presenter afterwards and she said that considering the amount of $ involved it was no big deal.

Went to the Big Box store and picked up some items.  When I got home I realized I'd left one thing in the cart and that I'd bought something that was wrong.  Dash back to the store.  Caught the attention of a shopping cart wrangler who fetched the item for me, luckily it was still in the cart and the cart was where I left it.  Went inside and got a refund on the wrong item.

Played Doctor - making appointments, trying to get test results, etc.

Cycled with kid to place where I work. She goes to school in the same place, in ten days. Better get acquainted with the route now, and time how long it will take her to ride the bit more than 15 km. Dropped girl off at her dad, who took the honours of cycling with her through the city to her school.
Worked. Picked girl up. Spent lots of money, on school bag and underwear. I tell you, a female household is costly.  :P
After an Italian ice cream, we went back home. Wind in our face, sun on our head.
Did some grocery shopping, some laundry. We went for a very simple meal, pizza from the supermarket.
Called mum. Had tea and something with it with the ladies.
Now it is about time for bed.

Had a barrel fire and burned a grocery bag full of old documents with account information on them from my fathers there are just too many to shred

Not a lot.. but I've made a chicken broth this morning. Watered all the plants in containers, did a (clothes) laundry, picked a bowl full of Jap. wineberries out of the garden and ran some errands in the afternoon. Made dinner and washed a couple of pans, knives and two wooden chopping boards after that. Properly cleaned the kitchen also.

Plan was to vac. clean the bedroom too but ja, it's now ten minutes before nine in the evening and.. tomorrow there will be another day.

I'm now enjoying a nicely chilled glass of Italian white wine.

Got up, had breakfast with the ladies. Then we left home and went on a trip to a friend. Another friend and spouse appeared there for coffee too. We spent there the day till after dinner. Made the two hour trip home, and we all were pretty peopled out after that.

Was a nice day though. It certainly was worth the aftermath.
