Filled the van up with gas $102.75 :thumbdn:
Went to Grainger one of the coolest stores around and bought a new motor for my furnace blower which cost less than the gas did.

Did some behind-the-scenes quick fixes for a client. We need to fix the underlying problem, though. This won't do.

Fed the family when I got home.

Teaching. Cooking. Cleaning. The usual. Also listened to the youngests presentation for school. I loved it. One of my favourite things to do as a kid was research projects. She takes after her Mum :)

Not a lot, yet. I made coffee and I logged on here. But I have been thinking about solutions to a client's problems. It seems I can't help it, the thoughts come whether I like it or not.

Other than the usual, I went with the youngest to her school's christmas craft sale. I love that everything there was made strictly by the kids. So many homemade ornaments with too much glitter, cookies that were overbaked, and a keychain made out of little decorative bits that was falling apart a little so the girl said I could have it for 50 cents instead of 75 cents. They're such great kids.

 I've been thinking about her. So glad you're home. Send me an update when you can. You must be drained.

Yeah. There was a two or three year old the next room over getting treatment. That was really hard to hear.

I'm sorry to hear that.  Is there a MSTI clinic where you are?

I'm actually in the midwest right now, that's where most my family lives.

I'm sorry to hear that too, EBM. My sister starts chemo in January also and.. ja, bah. Really hope your sister, like mine, gets well again (soon).

What a lousy lousy disease cancer is. Scary shit.

Just returned from a preschool Christmas party.  Best party I have ever attended.

Made a nice broth from a piece of wild salmon, some cod and some pink shrimps this afternoon. You have no idea how frikkin' easy it is to make a fish broth (or stock/whateverz) and how really lurvely it tastes. Tried a cup full.. and put the rest (the bulk) of it in me freezer to be used at christmas, day II.

Did a laundry, showered, went out, etc..
