Lutra ~ I'm feeling okay right now. Last week was rough and I'm just trying to get everything in order since I lost sight of stuff around the house the previous week. Feeling more on top of stuff right now which is good :)

Finished the dishes and scrubbed down the counters. Washed the front foyer floor and will do the kitchen floors tonight. Had the outside water lines winterized. Nice that it's done for the season and for a reasonable fee as well. Chatted with the neighbours, worked on language arts with the oldest, and now off to pick up the youngest from school. Tonight I have to tidy up some odds and ends I didn't get around to earlier in the week.

Is it in a big glass jar?  That would help explain the expense.  :nerdy:

You can get a bag of tealight candles (anywhere from 25 to 100) at the dollar store and some inexpensive votive holders and it will cost you far less.

Tealights are little but they burn for a few hours. They look like this:

But make sure you put them in holders because the metal on the bottom gets hot. Votive holders come in all colours and designs too. :)

Played in the laundry room with my son and I did laundry. It's just one big open room with a furnace and laundry sink and washer and dryer and mom's clothes in there and her wardrobe. Plus I got out my Halloween costumes and I did some sweeping and emptied the dishwasher.

I love scented candles. My mom uses them a lot and it makes the whole downstairs smell good. I usually get them at Ross or at Goodwill or TJ Maxx. Cheap there.

This afternoon
Cleaned up the yard
Checked out my generator and made sure it works
Fixed a broken gas can and got the others ready to fill tomorrow

And, thriftshops have shelves packed with holders for them now too. This is the season they sell best. So, you should be able to get some nice holders for very low prices.

Those tealights can be found scented too, if you like that. And, the regular unscented ones come in different qualities. Lately I go for the ones that last 6 hours most of the time, but, I do have some 4 hour lasting ones at home too.
I advice against buying the very wide 12 hour ones. Often the flame isn't hot enough to melt the wide tealights completely, and, thus makes them burn not effectively.
I can do upside down chocolate moo things!

I made coffee, and that's about it.
