^I never knew.

Today I exercised (trying to make it a habit)
Got ready to go out
Went to Centrelink to get an income statement
Went and tried to get a reference from my previous landlord but she is on holidays so I had to leave a message at the real estate agents
Went to another real estate agents to ask about a house I am interested in, apparently it won't be vacated until December/January.
Got told off by my mum for rocking
Came home and had lunch and a nap
Watched some Voyager on my computer
Had dinner, watched the news
Now on here.

That was a busy day.  I hope you get your own place really soon so you can
rock all you like without anyone telling you off.  I love living alone!  :viking:

Thank you. :) I like to keep busy because it keeps my depression at bay. I would like to have my own place so then I can clean things how I like, do the washing when I like, have a proper bathroom of my own (because I don't at the moment and sharing a toilet drives me nuts (I am a little OCD about the cleanliness in regards to that)). I would also like to park my car undercover. I have lived alone before (back in 2004-5) and I loved it too. I became very rigid with my routines, diet and stuff but that was the way I liked it. It was comforting and it made me happy.

And yeah, rocking. I said my meds make me do it but I am not so sure it is that.

I've been rocking almost as long as I can remember, especially to music.  8)

I drove my daughter to school, then came back home to get her jacket because she was too cold in just a sweater even though it's supposed to get up into the 70's later today.  Then I brought the jacket to her and bought a breakfast burrito from the Mexican restaurant.  It's nice to have her going to school in town.  I don't miss that long drive twice a day, every day.

Tackled my front hall which seemed to have turned into a dumping ground by kids when they come home. Emptied out closests and now just have to sort/pitch/donate and then organize what is left so that it is more functional. I think I have come up with a good solution for the oldest who is the worst culprit out of the three of us. He has so much stuff that he absolutely has to take with him everywhere he goes. We're slowly working on cutting it down a bit but at least for now, all of his stuff will be properly organized.

Taking a break to make us some lunch, play around online, and then put everything back and wash the floors when I'm done.

oh, also found the tiny grey mouse I knew had taken up residence. Found him hiding in the toe of a rainboot. Felt bad having to kick him out of the comfy warm house he had made for himself. He ran in the direction of my neighbours house. I hope I don't hear about them suddenly having a mouse problem

Today I exercised, got ready to go out again, went to the shops with my mum to pick up a present for my nephew, went to my storage unit and insect bombed it (it turned out to be an easy thing to do after all), went to the library so mum could get a book about Bali and it turned out that they didn't have any because they were out on loan. My mum wants such a book because she and my stepdad are going to Bali for a holiday next month.
Came home and read some of the book my mum got me, "Too Loud, Too Bright, Too Fast, Too Tight: What to do if you are sensory defensive in an overstimulating world." I haven't read the part where it tells what to do yet.

So far just stuff related with my store. I think I'm going to crash for 2 hours and then get on with the housework. Tackling the kitchen today. I hate when I get depressed. I lose my house so easily :P At least I'm feeling better and able to get it under control again.

Please don't go depressed, MK..

~

Um, I had a bit of a clumsy moment this early early morning. I, again/thing as of late had made myself a plate full of (Fr.) fries. You know.. prae-cooked potato-fingers out of freezer.. into pan with already hot oil. A bit of stirring and waiting till they turn golden. Out of pan.. on kitchen paper, salt, some mayonnaise.. nice..

..but but, ffff, this time I somehow managed to bump the jar with mayo from the slab/sink with my left hand and got my tile kitchen floor covered with greasy mayo and ja, glass. Bugger.

So I had to quickly clean the floor first.. before I could enjoy 'me' fries. Still have to properly clean it.. and must do so in a few.

Well, also read my newspaper, lurked on some fora a bit, showered, had a coffee, fed the birds outside, etc..

Went and did some shopping, had lunch and hung out with Ceilidh. :)

it's amazing how quickly a clean house gets messy again!   :GA:
