Hacked another chunk out of the creeper vines out back that are threatening to strangle our trees. Sketched out a new drawing. Did grocery shopping, dropped off a prescription.

Are the vines Kudzu?

Finished up work on my son's car and drove it around town to test it

Not a whole lot. Checked out from the hotel and took the bus to the airport, figuring it is too warm to take a final stroll around central Montreal. At the airport, I've spent half an hour filling in conference evaluation forms, another 20 minutes drinking a cup of coffee and 40 minutes eating, but oh boy this is boring. Now doing fuck all while waiting to board the plane.

Despite not going to my sister's birthday thing today.. I did manage to do some other stuff.

Played some online games, did some little things in the garden, ran some errands, made meself some onion soup (and ate some Vietnamese egg rolls and some fruit for dinner too), rode my mountainbike for over an hour (after someone said 'rust roest' on the telly.. and me thinking: he's right as rain  :orly:) and showered for the second time after that. Put the 'green' bin on the streetside, washed the dishes/stuff and cleaned the kitchen properly.

Do you buy things for your wife and children while you are on these trips?  If so and you haven't already, you could look in the airport gift shops.

I think technically I'm (almost) in the US now since I'm inside the customs zone. And I'll spend 2.5 hours at JFK before flying to Heathrow. That's sort of :viking:

The customs people mean business, too. They are scary. :hide:

I plan to do that at JFK or Heathrow.

They're irritatingly small.

Have you never been on an airplane?  ???
