I looked into laser surgery, but I was put off by the decreased night vision, increased floaters, glare and halos and the fact that you can end up needing glasses again in 5-10 years.

What was the laser surgery method you looked into? I'd like to know more about the risks you mention--I have heard about the decreased night vision, glares and halos, but the floaters are new to me.

I already have a problem with floaters. My eye muscles probably already cause more of those than is the case for most people, when pulling and straining the eyes.

Re halos and glare: Does these have to do with the optical area the laser works on being too small?

I had the surgery in 1991, as you might remember. I think that I have pretty much floaters for being relatively young, but considering it was 21 years ago, it is still a good deal. The surgery nowadays is also much more precise. It doesn't even hurt. Back then you had almost unbearable pain for the first 1-2 days after surgery.

Amongst a lot of little things (daily routine) I've done.. I've cleaned a smelly rabbit's housing this afternoon (yay) and made a chicken broth this early evening.

Grocery shopping, cooking, gave my friend a lift to work, talked to my lawyer. Going to clean house in a bit for company coming tonight.

Took PA to his bone doctor appt.  Ankle is v-e-r-y slowly fusing (7 months in).  Will go back in 6 weeks and see what further improvement has occurred.  He can walk on his ankle again, with the boot, although the doctor wasn't happy that PA had mowed the yard by himself.  No more of that stuff.

Laundry, ate lunch out with PA.
