Hospital here again. Seizures. I hate 'em. And post-ictal shitty blows as well. ran out of my meds, but couldn't get more, as the docs were closed due to the bank holiday. And the damn docs were too conservative with my pain meds. A low dose of oral morphine, and morphine has a REALLY piss-poor oral bioavailability. And half the oxycodone I needed, for which I had to wait ALL TWATTING DAY. In opiate withdrawal, knee and hip pain, and withdrawal from the clormethiazole, which they didn't have, and an adrenergic rebound, due to them having neither tizanidine nor clonidine in the hospital.Really pissing me off. I'll have to get up before 8:30 in the damn morning. I don't DO mornings
Spent my day in the hospital's neurology department, waiting for a CT scan. That is, I had a doctor's appointment this morning to check up on a weird kind of tingling/numbness I've felt on the left side of my face and body lately. The doctor did some tests and then sent me to have my head CT scanned. I waited most of the day and afternoon for the CT, then another three in the evening to find out what the CT showed.Nothing out of the ordinary, as it turns out, but the neurologist wants me back on Friday for more tests. When I finally was allowed to leave, I got as far as 50 ft outside the bloody hospital doors when I felt something cold on my arm. I was bleeding profusely from the wound after the IV needle and my formerly white shirt looked like something from a Dexter episode. Took them another 15 minutes to fix it.Fucking hell.
