Worked 10 hours. Got off work and attended a soiree @ Legion Of Honor. Lots of good food.

Here is a pic of one of the food tables for CBC.

That's a very attractive table!  I see you art lovers eat lots of raw veg.  :2thumbsup:

That's what I would have done myself.  (Had to Google linguica.)

Placed a power-on password on this laptop. Going somewhere for a few days so I figure if the rare chance someone steals it, it'll be a paperweight to them.
Existence actually has two broad meanings despite its apparent meaningless. The constant reconciliation of all its parts, and the conservation of any closed system as a whole.

Morality can be extrapolated from these meanings to make these two commandments of godless morality: 1). Be in harmony with one another and 2). Care for the environment.

Interview, for a voluntary job, with the blessing of social services.
And, yes, they want me at the thriftshop.  :hyke:

Ten-minute talk with the teacher of the youngest, with the youngest present herself too.
Teacher and my girl made some good new arrangements.

And, then went with my youngest to a city nearby, to get her eyes tested. They've changed more than two points in two years. No glasses needed, will keep a close eye on how this will develop further.

So, instead of glasses, she bought herself a summers dress.    The girl has spring on her mind.

Also got myself a lot of groceries today. I am completely drained. But, watching Lewis was a nice way of winding down.

Will you be making a big withdrawal today?   :litigious:

Breakfast, showered, washed hair. Did a load of washing and hung it out.

Took the dog out and walked him by the river and got a coffee. Now I am working on a project

I was actually organised today. Felt so good, for a change. Haven't felt this functional in many months.

Did a lot of neglected housework and other work.

Still was organised at the end of the afternoon.

And, then there was this "Did you get my message, we'll have time for you in just a few minutes". And me not realising that there and then I should have said, no, I did not get your message, and, I don't have time for you.

But, this sucker did not have that reaction in her, there and then. So, she waited for a few minutes, those turned out to be more than half an hour. Then had a chat she could have done without. End of story was that we ate really late tonight. But, organised as I was, I had all ready, only needed the last bit of cooking. Still, it did wreck my evening, and, I got my girls in bed almost an hour too late.

Now I am sitting here, feeling organised. Maybe I should do the dishes, before I go to bed.

Worked. Talked to a building inspector. Worked some more. Watched Spooks.
