Had my last day as a postie.

Almost got a big hug from someone in my streets, think it was me mentioning the flu that made him go for a handshake, that, or the presence of his wife.

Now you'll have more time for your duties as Ambassadress to the Low Countries.   :yarly:

Indeed.

First duty of all will be some very active mothering though, including partial home-schooling. Lots of catching up to do, now the oldest finally is getting some of her energy and fitness back.
And, it is time to take the interior of my Lady in Waiting withdrawal chamber very serious too.

Yes, the withdrawing chamber is very important.  I'm working on mine also.

Did some laundry.

Oh, and I spent an hour fine-tuning the sound of the home cinema thingy in our living room.

I taught a blind student for the first time today.
Her blindness was no issue at all to deal with. The fact that she is 3 1/2 with the attention span of a 3 1/2 year old was a far bigger challenge.

Awww, I can picture it now, what instrument is she learning?  :)

Piano.
She played "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star" for me and applauded herself; it was adorable.

That IS adorable, glad she has you for a teacher.  :)
