Dropped Kayleigh off at the train station aaaand then picked her up again some hours later. The host of her LOTR get together was too interested in talking about other stuff during the movies and insisted on a two hour break between movies so they could paint Warhammer figures. This didn't sit well with Kayleigh so she's home now.

Fireworks at 8pm.

I did a big bunch of nothing.  :zoinks: Seriously, I can't remember the last time I did so much nothing in a single day.  :lol1: I'm thinking about taking my shower early, putting on my pajamas, and doing even more nothing this evening.  :thumbup:

I can relate. That sounds like my day, except that I started with a shower.

Other than love on my dog, read some and sample the nets, I have not made one small measure of effort toward forward production today.

I hung a birdhouse we received for Christmas. :hadron: Then I built some expense tracking spreadsheets for the new year. I also did some window shopping online. I'm thinking about using my Christmas money to buy us a new tv cabinet, but I haven't decided which one yet.  :dunno:

I did that, well I tried anyways and it snowballed into a couple loads of laundry and some cleaning. I need to apply myself better.

Yesterday I went up the kid's house, fixed the dryer (well got it working again anyways, I'm waiting on some new vent hose) and played with the grand kids.

Went to the gym, bought lunch, some cat treats and a feather stick for Rowan (he loves it) and a bag of ice.

When I got home I made a phone call to Housing Choices about the letter I got stating that I was in rent arrears. Apparently, my Centrepay payments didn't sync with the rent increase in the middle of December. I asked if it would happen again and they said no. Still, it meant that I had to take a walk to their office (a ten minute walk away) and pay the arrears with my card. I didn't drive there because their customer car park is always full of staff cars. And yep, when I got there it was.

Did two loads of washing when I got home and am just about to bring it all in.

Volunteered at the Salvos. They don't have their Centrelink volunteers until next week so the paid staff has been run ragged. There were only two of us volunteers there today and I did my usual hanging clothes and tagging them.

Worked until 7:20 this morning.... tried sleeping a bit, realized I was between 5 hours 40 minutes to 6.5 hours of sleep -_-

Took a walk in 20 F temps and 30-50 mph wind gusts.  (I have a wind speed gauge so that's a fact).  Fun!
