Trying to find a use of 4 days worth of food and water for the birds... Mom and I have an idea of what to do for Yoshi, but the food supply for my budgies is a definite priority.

I cleaned out my dresser junk drawers. :hadron: My dresser has two sort of hidden drawers which look like they're part of the trimwork, and open up into two large drawers which are about 3 inches deep. One is used for miscellaneous things and the other is used for my paper hoard. There's certain bills, statements, and receipts I feel I need to keep short term, so I toss them in there and then clean it out once per year keeping only the most recent things. now I have a whole shopping bag of crap to burn tomorrow because I don't want to risk breaking the shredder by doing too much at one time.

I also washed the curtain over the kitchen sink. It's white lace so I have to handwash it, for fear of ruining it in the washing machine. It's the only curtain in the house and it's not even really a curtain, but more like a valance which covers about half of the window. I don't like that curtain and I've suggested a few times over the years, replacing it with something more sleek and streamlined to better match the aesthetic of the rest of the house. It's been there forever so I don't think about it often because it's been a constant part of the scenery for so long, however I do profoundly notice it when I see it in photos and that's when I bring it up. Sugarbutt loves that gawd awful frilly grandma curtain, so it always stays.  :lol1:

Welp.  Fed my friend oatmeal in exchange for their incorrect doordash order lol.  Then I spent the day goofing off and watching Jessica Jones.  My sister asked if I was okay, I told her I was getting there lmao.  Actually, I'm definitely getting worse and all my equipment is breaking down and my relationships are unsatisfying.  I did finally talk myself into going to work... just at the moment my phone decided to restart in order to complete an update tht I don't remember downloading.  Okay.  Idk, maybe I'll stay home.  I do need an oil change and I decided not to bother trying to find a facility that was open on thanksgiving.  I'll take the car out to valvoline tomorrow.  But I don't know what to do now.

Got my first bonus in like.... idk, six months?  Uber was offering "quests" again for eats deliveries.  For a quest, if you complete a certain number of deliveries you get a bonus.  If I had started earlier I would have gotten more, but I was just too tired and groggy.  Unril six oclock, yeesh.  Maybe tomorrow I can get moving earlier, especially if I shower now

I did my Saturday housework and put up some Christmas lights outside. :hadron: I didn't bother with the indoor decorations because I need the boy to drag that crap out of the attic for me, and he also assembles the tree. He did a ton of stuff this morning when he got home from work, so I didn't want to ask him to do anything else. He blew off the roof and mowed the front yard with the bagger to clean up all the debris, and then seeded the front yard with annual rye seed. I was a little concerned it's still to hot, but Sugarbutt said we have some rain and cooler weather coming, so hopefully we have a nice green lawn for Christmas.

Went out to lunch with Salvos people. Finally met the guy who does the same job I do but on Saturdays. He's the one who gets my written messages on the racks of clothes. I leave them if I haven't finished tagging the clothes or if they're already counted and he shouldn't count them also. He was a lot younger than I thought he'd be. It was good to put a face to the name.

Put up the xmas decorations.  Decluttered some of the decorations as no longer needed.
