Had Jimmy Johns, starting writing the first of many letters, then went out with some friends.

Did many meetings. Spent time trying to understand a code library almost entirely without documentation. Welcomed a new member to my team. This one is very, very good.

Bought some books and my 2024 Volcano Calendar!  I am loading up for our road trip vacation in 2 weeks!    :icequeen:

^Where are you heading?

To visit a good friend in upstate NY, near Rochester NY.  We're taking it at a leisurely pace.  Riding too long in a car taxes the back and leg joints at my age.  And flying there is far more stressful, which we could do.  But, for now, it's going to be taking road trips or train rides to go see some sights and sample Bed and Breakfasts that intrigue us.  The place we're heading for is near the Lake Ontario shores.  So some "serious" relaxing is going to be enjoyed.   8)

Went out buying at estate sales, then loaded the van for the flea market tomorrow

Wanted to ask her out, but she asked me... yet I wasn't able to get to where she was because it's 19 minutes away :(

I did my Saturday chores. :hadron: I'll clean the cars this evening after it cools off some. We've had company all week, so I couldn't do chores yesterday. Still, tomorrow is a holiday, so today is sort of like Saturday anyway.  :dunno:

Sounds good to me. :)

I stood by and watched while Sugarbutt did another honey-do project.  :zoinks: I buy our shower stuff in big bottles with pumps on top and just sit them in the shower floor, but he recently got dizzy bending over for them and was worried about falling in the shower. I bought a hanging thing to put the bottles in, but reaching for them makes the arthritis in his shoulder hurt. So now I bought a dispenser thingy with buttons to push which can be mounted at a comfortable height for him. He glued the bracket to the wall but it has to dry for 24 hours before the dispensers can be hung. I guess we will found out tomorrow if it's going to be a good thing.  :dunno:

Did some yard work, had some stuff I needed to get done in front of the project house me and Kay had been working on since July.

The objective is to get the project done by the 13th of this month... Is it possible? Most likely :-)
