Blew insulation into an apartment on the third floor of a house.  So many stairs :zombiefuck:

Played golf. We took a shortcut, playing 14 holes instead of 18,. I won't be on the Senior Tour anytime soon, but it was fun.

I did my usual Saturday chores. I also cleaned cabinets and drawers, and decluttered some stuff along the way. :hadron:

Star Trek Adventures was cancelled as two people were sick.

So I took the chance to study my proofreading course. Most of the in-depth rules are common sense to me but I'm stumped when it comes to en and em dashes. I don't have a clue. I think I'll have to search the internet for more information.

I did some christmas shopping this morning. It was nice because the stores were very empty, plus I actually bought a couple of things. My gift stashing spot is starting to fill up, so I feel like I'm making some progress.  :santa:

Went to Church with Mom and Dad... had a good time, had to come back after service because Dad was feeling like shit from his cancer again... went with Mom to get the COVID test she needed before her doctor's appointment the following week, as well as finding the Ice Cream I like at Walmart. Of course, when I went through Walmart I was avoiding eye contact with my old boss who is a tyrant... (Dad thinks she's a lesbian in men's clothing)

Yeah... a lot to do, so little time.... also I'm waiting on the prognosis of my background check with my new job.

I put a keen edge on my mower blade.
Last spring I bought one of those self propelled "cut everything into a hundred pieces and leave it right there" mowers. It works great, but it requires a sharp blade to do well.
Everyone else spends hours raking leaves toward the curb this time of year where the wind just redistributes them to everyone else's yard before the city comes around to vacuum them up.

Mine are rended to composting size, left in the grass where they can do the most good in about twenty minutes of mowing and no one can tell I do not even own a leaf rake.

I love that.
Unfortunately, our timetables are often 180 degrees out of phase.
It's almost like we tag in and tag out of the bed sometimes.
