Did a lot of research to fix a client's documentation problems but eventually realised that their version of the relevant standard is too old. Upgrading is not an option.

Nothing much yet, I just got up.

I was up until early morning, so technically a lot of that is today. I couldn't sleep and read the news instead.

Bunnings trip
Put the sliding door pelmets back up.
Took my walk-in-robe door and turned it into the new cavity slider door for the laundry. Best thing is the door was already painted.
Now my robe has no door but it's semi-intentional. I'm thinking of a little barn door to replace it.

Ran around after my ADHD grandson.  I've had him for four hours.  That was about as much as I can handle by myself -  you really need to double team him so you've got someone to tag in when your energy level starts to drop.

Got back from a getaway indulgence weekend in Boston.  Nice to eat some gourmet food and chill out walking the streets of Boston checking out little shops.

I awoke with a feeling of trepidation.  I made myself some wholemeal toast and was irritated by the way the large strands of orange in my marmalade fought to stay in the jar, squirming off my knife like a small octopus.  The resulting blobs of breakfast confection formed a sad face emoji on my toast and I imagined I heard it's scream of pain as I bit into it's face.

I fucking hate Mondays.
