Walked, went back home for an hour then went for a haircut. The hairdresser that always does my hair has gotten pregnant so I'll only see her once more before she goes on maternity leave.

After I came home, I had an hour's phone call with my support worker.

Converted some 16,000 legal documents from one format to another. Had lunch with my son.

Walkie I will stage an intervention if you so much as glance at bowls to put atop your head or anyone else's while holding a pair of scissors

I had that cute circa 1981. It wasn't pretty.

Oh. OK, I'll drop that idea then
it's just that we're coming over all nostalgic, here in Britain, on account of the 75th anniverary of V.E. day.  We even had an extra  bank holiday yesterday, to facilitate all the celebrations which had to be cancelled. All very timely, really,  given that were presently under siege , and fast becoming just as broke as our wartime forebears. I think we're all developing a bit of natural affinity for them.
So, naturally, old-fashioned  money-saving ideas such as pudding-bowl haircuts sprang to mind.
Don't worry though, i wouldn't seriously contemplate it.  :green:

P.S. how about shaven head?  That would be equally hard to go wrong with, i guess, and would look rather more modern.
It would also save a shedload of time and frustration.  Dunno about you, but if i tried to do a DIY haircut, that's surely where it would end up eventually, like it or no

I gave HB a mohawk a few weeks back. That was loads of fun. Although oldest son, upon seeing that I actually went through with it, won't let me touch his head with a razor now at all. I told him just because I give one man in the house a mohawk doesn't mean all the men in the house will be given mohawks but he doesn't trust me with the razor yet

That would be ironic considering he's half black and I'm the one with Native genes :green: (I'm Metis and my Dad's family is Anishinaabe)

I wish I could do that where I live but there is very little shoulder to the road and people are driving like crazy people on the country roads.

Fixed a couple of bugs in a conversion pipeline. Now validating the results of a new conversion.
