Went for a drive to look at the waves at the beaches
Worked on organizing the basement

Made cookie batter for the Easter cookies that didn't happen. Luckily two year olds can't read a calendar yet.  :zoinks:

Had some coffee while browsing the news.

Do not be too sure. My son had taught himself to read phonetically by that age.

Reading is a big thing around here.
Jimi Hendrix: When the power of love overcomes the love of power the world will know peace.

Ghandi: Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever.

The end result of life's daily pain and suffering, trials and failures, tears and laughter, readings and listenings is an accumulation of wisdom in its purest form.

I have enjoyed my garden flowers this morning, but I sentenced another tree to death in my yard.

I know I have cut down a lot of trees this year, but over the coming months, I will be replacing seven old non-productive peach trees with twelve or more arbor vitae, spruce and juniper varieties for future low maintenance screening. That will be in addition to the four young plum trees that will sit in place of four of the lost peach trees.

Chatted with my best friend. As usual we laughed, snorted and guffawed.  We miss our Wednesday breakfasts at McDonalds.

He knows most of his letters and he likes pointing out letters when he sees them, but he hasn't shown any signs of putting them together into words.

It was a no-go trying to find a clothes bin for my second hand stuff. So it will sit in the back of my car until the bins are brought out again.

I got put on a call list by the chemist - as in they'll call me when I can get a flu vaccination there. Could be up to a week, they said.

Got a phone call from my mental health mentor. She's working from home and said she's never been on the phone so much in her life. Neither have I, come to think of it.

Worked at the other office. I parked opposite the police station all day (I can needlessly drive 25 mins to another workplace and there's nuthin they can do about it :zoinks:)
Purchased a tank full of 98 for $1.33/L.
Came home, tried to fix the cat, had a shower. Then I tried to re-plan my kitchen but it didn't work - got the idea of a breakfast nook, but my floor space is just too restrictive  :-\
