Went to look after my friend again today, hasn't been the best day this time round. This time round she was so depressed, the only thing that lifted her spirits up was a friendly face today. Soon as I left, went back to their depressed state. Ended up watching some stuff on YouTube.

Had a really nice long phone call with an old dear friend.  Well, only a few years older than me!  But we go back 50+ years as the eons are now reckoned!   8)

Made cinnamon rolls, helped the youngest with her Geography assignments, cooked some bulk things for the next few days and will be playing a board game with the monkeys later this afternoon. They picked The Game of Life (the Minion version) to play.

I got stuck into my painting again.I managed to coat two opposite walls in the loungeroom. Might even do a second coat in a little after I put my youngest cat to bed.

That sounds so sweet.

Today I went to Coles hoping to get their brand of kitchen wipes but of course there were none. But there was toilet paper there and tissues. I didn't buy any because we have heaps. Bought drinks and cat treats. At home I did the mountain of dishes we had.

And it's easier if he's in bed because then there's one less cat to worry about touching the wet paint.


All I've done so far today is my laundry and youtube. Been watching some "Hits of [insert year]" music lists. Around 2004-2005 seems to be the time I stopped paying attention to the charts

Same here (regarding music).

Today I have been cleaning out the storage room. For some reason there was a lot of soil on the floor in there. It's swept now. I threw a few of Kayleigh's things out - bags that were full of spider webs, an old pillow and bits of plastic that I can't tell the origin of. I could have but didn't throw out an old motherboard, cords that belong to something and old uni assignments. Of my own, I threw out old markers that no longer work, bubble wrap (we already have a huge roll of it) and old clothes that aren't good enough for the Salvos.
