Well, before all that smoking meat, mushrooms and onions episode began, I actually over cut to larger than needed sizes, some of my plywood sheets, which were delivered to my home recently. This is the hard to get around here plywood (expensive) that will eventually become panels for my future JBL Studio Monitor project.

Getting them sized into more easily manageable pieces is step one of marking out and cutting rabbets and dadoes into the panels. I did not get very far, but any progress feels like a win!

A mix of work and errands so far. This time of year is slow work wise but will pick up soon enough. Right now I would love nothing more than a nap.

Decided to go to a supermarket after Carla went down for a nap.  And surprise, that I found cherries that she loves.  I wasn't planning on going, but, the weather is cold and raw and scattered snow flurries, so I got cabin fever and headed out.  She got up and is now doing the nom nom nom on said cherries.  The South American cherry season seems to be starting,  YAY

Got up. Made coffee. Sat down on my favourite armchair and tried to drink coffee while our 4-month-old puppy tried to engage me in various types of play, climbed on me, lay across me, yapped at me for not playing with him, etc. Puppy is already a lanky 15 kilos, or about 33 pounds. Expecting him to be about 3 times that size when fully grown.

Expecting him to start shitting Christmas lights today, he pulled some down from a tree in the backyard and ate them. Not sure how many he ate versus how many he just chewed up, I guess we will find out.

Not a lot. I have a headache and plan on nurturing it the rest of the day.

Cleaned the kitchen from top to bottom, swept the leaves out in the backyard, vacuumed and mopped the floors and now I'm knackered.

Icing over of the trees near my driveway caused one large branch to break. It was threatening to fall on my car.
After an hour of chainsawing, there is no longer a tree there, only a nice, waist high pile of barbecue peach wood for spring.

I cut down several trees on my property with a chainsaw.

At some point I'll have a lot of juniper wood for fires.
