Attempted to meet the grief group at the usual restaurant only to discover that "next Thursday", last Tuesday, meant "the Thursday after next".  :grrr:

i have trouble interpreting 'this' day versus 'that' day.  Evidently it depends on who's using it.  So I just clarify with mentioning the date when someone says 'this' or 'that'.

^Yeah, can't go wrong if you specify the date.

I've had breakfast and lunch, texted my mentally ill friend all morning, she will be going back to hospital.

Texted Kayleigh, who has won two games of X-Wing at a tournament.

Washed and hung out a load of washing.

Don't you hate when people get their weekly meanings messed up? For me the first day of the week is Monday, not Sunday. I don't know if this is wrong.
And my friend says "next week" about the coming week instead of "this week coming".

At least I got a good dinner out of it. I figured I was there already with the kid, he was hungry, may as well stay. So he got his first restaurant meal: chicken strips, apple slices and milk. All the previous times, I brought baby food for him, but he's getting more and more interested in grown up food.

The smells could be enticing him. Sounds like a good dinner, I'd eat that. ;)

That was one thing my mum said about me being developmentally delayed - my twin was eating grown up food while i was still eating baby food because grown up food made me throw up.

I apparently ate nothing but spaghetti and peanut butter and honey sandwiches for a while when I was a toddler.

I've been waiting for others to finish their bits all morning.

I apparently ate nothing but spaghetti and peanut butter and honey sandwiches for a while when I was a toddler.

Macaroni and cheese, peanut butter and marshmallow cream sandwiches...and I think that was from age 5 to 6...when I was a toddler it was a constant fight unless you had potato chips...supposedly I wouldn't look up if you called my name but I could hear a chip bag open at the other end of the house.

I'm still alive.

The boy didn't get his teeth for the longest time...I was carrying a portable blender to Thanksgiving dinner...and I swear he existed on spaghetti and scrambled eggs.

Any food you can get in them at this age is a bonus.

Ate leftover pizza for breakfast.
Took Kayleigh to see her psychiatrist. He wants her in hospital so I guess we'll be making that happen tomorrow. :(
There's a game shop around the corner from her psych so Kayleigh bought some X-Wing stuff and some awesome metal dice.
I made her buy some pyjamas and some new sneakers.

Just walked to the chemist (and got rained on) and got refills of all my meds but two.

Kayleigh went to a mental health organisation at the same time just around the corner. After I went to the chemist I tried to find the place Kayleigh went to but alas, I couldn't find it. They don't advertise themselves. So I walked home and texted Kayleigh that that's what I did.

Walked around in central London but decided I should probably head to the airport early as it started to pour down.
