Worked pulling weeds in the front yard.  The PR was helping and sat on my foot.  I now have a broken big right toe to match the broken big left toe she gave me when she left water on the floor last fall.

I describe myself as a free-range parent.  Now I realize I'm also a free-range me.  I just took a bath after I'd finished the lawn, wrapped the big toe to the toe next to it with some medical tape.  Before I went to bed I took a pain pill, 2 acetominaphin, 2 benadryl and a sleeping pill.  Slept like a baby. 

It's a little bothersome today, but I haven't taken anything for it yet.  I'll just keep splinting it for a week or 10 days and wear a bedroom slipper.


One weird thing that I found out with the earlier broken toe is that the nail grew back significantly thicker, which is reasonable when I think about it.  Not quite long enough to clip it yet, but I'm planning on finding some heavy duty clippers.

Woke up and answered my phone (it was my dad), had delicious egg and bacon jaffa-cooked sandwiches, read some of my book, watched some YouTube stuff and did a mountain of dishes.

Was just about to go out when my mum phoned me. She's finished crocheting some beanies for my friend who always wears them. So my mum will drop them off for me tomorrow on their way to the city. I've missed my mum and stepdad heaps. I've gone from living with them to seeing them about 5 times a year.

Picked up a prescription from the doctor, filled it at the chemist, came home and watched tv. Fed the cats. Not much.
