From what I've seen, ALL Walmarts suck to work for.

Is there any other job you can get besides Satan's Five and Dime??   :dunno:
Not really, but, I am going to give Lowe's another chance.
Is Lowe's a menswear shop? That's what it is here in Australia. I went to one in Queensland and bought some Aquarius socks.

The Lowe's in the US is a big box hardware store.  It competes with Home Depot, another big box hardware store.

Around here they say it's the lesser of the two evils to work for.

There was talk of one being built closer to me. Not sure it would be beneficial for me to ever work there though. Monkeys shouldn't work in banana factories and all that.

Got the brake tag for my car.  We have the option of a one year tag ($10) or a two year tag ($20).  Since the royal carriage is a 2003 I'd like to get the 2 year tag and skip an inspection year, but I'm afraid that it will totally break down before even one year passes.

We have Bunnings over here. We also had Masters but they couldn't compete with Bunnings so they all shut down.

My sister got a Bunnings voucher at Christmas. She was thrilled.

What I did today was binge watch The Good Doctor and do the dishes. But I haven't finished them. I still have more to do.

Yay, after many years I finally have all my vinyl albums recorded onto CD's.  The last three were the hardest since they could not be bought in CD form anywhere.....and I did search.  I know vinyl is making a comeback, but, not with the obscure musicians I love and found in many a quirky place.  Couldn't find them on youtube at all.  Now I can listen to all the tunes I love.   One of the hard parts was finding the right device to do the recording at a reasonable price.  Thank you Amazon, you came thru again!   8)

Now I can carry my tunes every where and anywhere I choose to go.   8)

Working on the beat up kitchen table I picked up...it's overdue a make over.

First coat of chalk paint tonight on the table and chair bottoms...need to figure out my game plan for the top, it was pretty messed up.

It's still morning so nothing beyond a coffee, browsing the news and posting here.

Some research about proofreading. Seems there's a free small business course here in town that I may be eligible for.

Finished writing a registration app for a conference I help arrange. Also deployed it.

Decent weather, well above freezing for a late season tease.
I have made even more progress on making myself a work area in my over cramped garage space.

I have thrown many things into the recycle biin, some I continue to question. BUT, if I have not used it in more than a couple years ...
:bigcry:

I can almost fit a car in here.
:woohoo:

The end result of life's daily pain and suffering, trials and failures, tears and laughter, readings and listenings is an accumulation of wisdom in its purest form.

Got my tabletop sanded to the point I wanted and then my sander went up in smoke.

Shouldn't expect much from a Black and Decker 1/3 sheet electric sander I trashed picked 3 years ago.

Found my little 20+ year old heavily used Ryobi electric palm sander for the chair seats...it still lives.

I might get this table done in 5 more years.

Not really.

Just cheap...and since gardening is out of the picture for a few more months I need something to do to relax. ;)
