Went for a morning walk and did a great load of dishes. I'm glad the kitchen is tidy now.

A bunch of needed chores.

Overcame my recent paralysis and started sorting and shelving (boxing actually - loft precludes shelving up there) my games.

Hoping this will help me move on to some of the other tasks. So far, I've only been able to muck around with yard work recently.

Went to a garden center and stocked up on herb plants, seeds and vegetable starts. Planted most of them and drenched them with water.

It's morning here, so my day might be a little more exciting than that. :P

Mostly, yes. Every now and then, like now, I get the urge to log in and post later.

Had an "All Store meeting"  to attend this morning. I call "all snore meetings."

Then I bought a few veggies to plant and some mulch stuff.

Got gardening to do! Heading out, now.

YAY!  :woohoo:

Probably did too much too fast, but I am done planting.

The garden beds were already prepared, so no big challenge with that part.
I am almost out of breath. too much too fast.

I got all my sweet peppers in and most of my tomatoes, today. My greens have been going for about a month, but my hot peppers are yet to be deployed.

My sisters and Mum were swapping plant cuttings today. My sister told me that lavender keeps the mosquitoes away because I said that I was considering getting rid of the lavender in the front garden. Guess I'll leave it there then.

I drove to Pinjarra (a half hour drive from home) to be the first in our family to arrive for our Mothers Day get-together. Usually I'm last.

Mum made some delicious pineapple cake that I ate 3 pieces of. I ate a healthier salad roll later.

My oldest sister gave me a belated birthday present - a painted cat teapot and a fluffy purple blanket that I think Liam the cat will love (he kneads soft things).

I bought my mum pyjamas for when she goes to hospital next month (she's having a knee replacement) wrapped up in a blue cloth bag that my friend made. Mum was pretty happy.

The PR treated me to dinner at the local diner.  Just what I wanted and asked for.  Something simple and easy.
