Solved a problem that had been plaguing me for a long time and that I'd designed an awkward, hackneyed system to work around.

Also colored some Christmas tags.

Went for an early morning walk, got home, did the pile of dishes I meant to do yesterday. Then as I was heading to my room to start studying, Kayleigh said to go into her room with my computer to keep her company and we would talk. I agreed, sat on her bed and started working on an assignment. Two minutes later Kayleigh was asleep (and still is).

Converted another batch of legal documents from one format to another. Hundreds of megabytes of legal commentary for Scotland, England and Wales, to be more precise.

My script does the conversion as a batch process but it takes forever to complete and some of the documents are so large that the process crashes when I validate the converted files.

Went to college all prepared for a couple of classes only to find the computers were down. Won't be working again until Monday. Lucky I uploaded my completed assignment yesterday.

So I came home early.

Drove down south to go walking along the water to the beach and back. Drove up to the mountain lookout while I was down that way (couldn't flog it up the windy road though, the road was too skinny lol). Came back and lovingly washed and detailed the car. Now I'm buggered with a headache.
